Second and Third Trimester Pregnancy Advanced Clinical Ultrasound Training Part 2

Ultrasound is the preferred imaging modality for the assessment of the anatomy of the female pelvis and enables evaluation of all stages of pregnancy and detection of a variety of pathologic conditions. Second & Third Trimester Pregnancy Advanced Clinical Ultrasound Training Part 2 teaches how to use sonography to evaluate normal and pathologic fetal development, as well as extrafetal components, in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. Sonographic evaluation of basic fetal anatomy is discussed, as well as evaluating cardiac activity, fetal number (and chorionicity if multiple pregnancy), and fetal age, weight, and size. One will also learn how to perform a biophysical profile, determine fetal lie and presentation, and assess amniotic fluid and the placenta.
